About me

I taught myself design as a means to help my community during the pandemic. Since then, I've been pursuing ways to actualize technology's potential for good while mitigating the threats it poses as it spreads rapidly around the world.

My approach to design comes from my education in international studies, sociology, and human-centered design. Through my work, I aim to combine a strong focus on individual user needs with a broader awareness of how people and things exist together in communities.

The small number of people who create the technology that mediates our lives carry a huge responsibility. I’m lucky to know some of these people, who are taking on the challenge to build better futures. But if you’ve read the news lately, you might agree that we need more of them.

The work on this site, and everything that will come after it, is my attempt at being one of those people.

I do other things besides design, too, but I don’t want all my secrets on the internet. You can contact me for the rest.👇
